Energy and CO₂ cost analysis

High energy bills do not decide on their own which investment is right. Based on your plant data we compare possible actions: how energy is purchased, own renewables, storage, heat recovery and hydrogen applications.

Who it is for

Operators of existing industrial plants and larger sites that want to understand where their energy and emission costs come from and which options deserve further work before committing capital.

What we do

Review electricity, gas and fuel consumption and, where available, load profiles.

Separate fuel-related emissions from process emissions where relevant.

Screen options: purchasing approach, on-site renewables, storage, waste-heat recovery and hydrogen suitability.

Describe the assumptions, accuracy level and main risks of each option.

Data we need

Energy and fuel invoices or meter data for a representative period.

Basic process description and operating hours.

Site utilities, available land or roof area and grid connection information, where known.

Any existing studies, audits or emission reports.

What you receive

A paid report comparing options, with stated assumptions.

Indicative capital and operating cost ranges for the options worth pursuing.

Risks, dependencies and the specialists required.

Recommended next steps and the documentation each would need.

Boundaries

Indicative estimates are not design calculations, tenders or guaranteed savings.

Process or equipment changes must be validated with the equipment supplier.

Energy audits required by law and statutory documents are scoped separately where needed.

How it works

Short qualification conversation.

Written scope, fee and schedule.

Data collection and site questions.

Analysis and report.

Discussion of results and possible next stage.

Schedule and fees

Scope, schedule and fee are agreed in writing for each assignment after a short qualification conversation and a review of the data available. The schedule depends on the completeness of the data and on third parties such as equipment suppliers and authorities. A first conversation to check whether the work makes sense is free; individual analysis and documentation work is paid.

Is hydrogen always part of the recommendation?

No. Hydrogen is one option among several. In many plants purchasing changes, renewables, storage or heat recovery are more appropriate.

Do we need complete data to start?

No. We start with what is available and list the gaps. The accuracy of the result depends on the quality of the data.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

We do not publish fixed prices or lead times. After a short qualification conversation we propose a written scope, fee and schedule that reflect your data and the specialists needed.

A short description is enough. We will ask for details during the follow-up.
