RFNBO and funding readiness

If a project is to meet RFNBO requirements, the energy, data and certification path has to be prepared for the specific model. A general statement of using renewables is not enough.

Who it is for

Hydrogen developers and asset owners preparing for certification of renewable hydrogen or for funding applications.

What we do

Review the energy supply model, data and documents.

Identify gaps in traceability and evidence.

Outline a possible certification route.

Prepare materials for funding readiness.

Data we need

Planned power supply arrangement and grid situation.

Project concept and timeline.

Existing contracts, studies and decisions.

What you receive

A readiness assessment.

An evidence checklist.

A plan to close identified gaps.

Boundaries

Certification and financing decisions belong to independent certification bodies and funding institutions.

No automatic eligibility or award is implied.

Rules can change; the assessment reflects the rules applicable at the time of work.

How it works

Qualification conversation.

Written scope and fee.

Document and data review.

Readiness assessment.

Gap-closing plan.

Schedule and fees

Scope, schedule and fee are agreed in writing for each assignment after a short qualification conversation and a review of the data available. The schedule depends on the completeness of the data and on third parties such as equipment suppliers and authorities. A first conversation to check whether the work makes sense is free; individual analysis and documentation work is paid.

Do you issue RFNBO certificates?

No. Certification is carried out by independent certification schemes and bodies. We help prepare the evidence and process.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

We do not publish fixed prices or lead times. After a short qualification conversation we propose a written scope, fee and schedule that reflect your data and the specialists needed.
